Sofía Calvo is a lawyer, product designer and inventor, based in Lima, Peru. She serves as HBL Company's Senior Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean. She is a member of Women Leaders of the Americas and of Women Artists of Medellín – Remar and represents Peru as an ambassador in a global platform of high-level relations.
Sofia is an active member of the Kultura Project, an international organization based in Rome, Italy, dedicated to the promotion of art and culture. Her work as a cultural manager in communications was recognized by the Andean Parliament in March 2024. She received a diploma by the mayor of Lima, Rafael López Aliaga, in December 2024, in recognition of her outstanding career as a broadcaster and her contribution to the development of radiotelephony. In addition, he is a member of the Peruvian Association of Broadcasters, affiliated to the Hispano-American Federation of Broadcasters, and an honorary member of the Afro-Andean and Amazonian Multicultural Table for Culture and Development of Peru.
Sofia serves as president of the International Arts Commission of PAFROAN and was recognized with a report from the Andean Parliament for her service to an informed, free and democratic society, with a commitment to truth, culture and critical thinking (October 2025).
She was appointed Ambassador of Peace in Peru by the International Embassy of Peace (EIP). Her life story, marked by perseverance and resilience, is part of the book "Women who live without fear", launched in New York in October 2024 and given to the nominees of the 2025 Oscars. Sofia has received multiple international awards: bronze medal in "Women Who Change the World – America" (New York, 2024), bronze statuette in "Women Who Change the World" (London, 2024) and served as ambassador and nominated in the 2024 and 2025 editions. She also won two categories in "The Women Changing the World" 2025: Women Impact and Women in Media & Creative Industries.
Sofia is an international correspondent for the Cultural Channel of Peru and was distinguished with the National Award for Women’s Environmental Ideology 2025 by CENAM, for her contributions to scientific research, sustainability and innovative environmental strategies. She represented Peru at the 10th International Innovation and Invention Competition in Canada, and received the "NextGen Women Leaders" award in sustainability, and inclusion at the Prime International Awards in Paris.

She has also been recognized as one of the Top 100 Outstanding Leaders of Mexico 2025. Co-author of the book "Women Who Live Without Fear" Launched in New York 2025 and was a gift to the basket of nominees for the 2025 Oscars. In the

In the same year 2026, she received a medal and recognition from the Andean Parliament (March 2026), and a diploma from the Afro-Andean and Amazonian Multicultural Table of Peru, for her commitment to culture, identity, the voice of women of indigenous peoples and the value cultural of their worldview in art.
