His career began in the field of the Rule of Law, working in environments of high political and governmental responsibility. She has served in leadership positions within the public administration, including roles as Director of Diplomacy, Protocol and Etiquette, CSuite executive, strategic advisor and institutional liaison in spaces where diplomacy, governance and operational accuracy are essential. His experience includes working directly with mayoral offices, boards of commissioners, hospital institutions, national organizations, and high-level entities in Washington, D.C.
For more than 30 years, Ambassador Matta has served as an immigration paralegal, accompanying thousands of migrant families in complex processes, defending their rights, guiding them humanely, and advocating for reforms that guarantee dignity, transparency, and access to justice.
