Dr. Virginia Rivera is an internationally recognized entrepreneur, executive leader, and global economic development strategist whose work spans Puerto Rico, the United States, Latin America, India, Europe, Australia, and emerging international markets.

With more than a decade of leadership across entrepreneurship, international partnerships, media, education, and economic empowerment initiatives, Dr. Rivera has established herself as a respected global voice in entrepreneurial ecosystem development, women’s economic advancement, and cross-border institutional collaboration.

She is the Founder and President of Mujer Emprende Latina, a Puerto Rico-based nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship, business education, economic mobility, and leadership opportunities for women. Through its programs and initiatives, the organization has supported thousands of women entrepreneurs through mentorship, education, visibility platforms, business development support, and entrepreneurial access initiatives.

Dr. Rivera is also the Owner and Executive Director of SOLApreneurs Magazine, an international business and entrepreneurship publication with presence across the United States and Latin America, and expanding into India and Dubai. The magazine highlights entrepreneurs, innovators, thought leaders, and impact-driven organizations shaping the future of business, leadership, and global collaboration.
